Tango Mango Quilt Shop Update

I've updated the shop with four Tango Mango baby quilts! Four! They're all identical, so I've listed them in one listing, with four available.

They're all made out of Kona solids on the front and back, and have a Moda black and white stripe for binding. I quilted them in the ditch so that the stitching kind of disappears, and all you see are the triangles. The quilts each measure approximately 41" by 50".

I love these quilts... the colours continue to make me so happy :)

Click here to purchase one! SOLD OUT!

(I'm still not taking custom orders so once sold, I won't be taking orders for these or any other quilts.) Edit: I've started taking on customs again, but at a slower pace. Please email me if you're interested, thanks!

Gobble Gobble Quilted Table Runner

I forgot how satisfying it is to make a table runner. It takes far less time to finish than any quilt, and quilting it doesn't incite any swearing whatsoever.

I made this runner out of Gobble Gobble charm packs and thought a disappearing nine patch would do very nicely with these fabrics.

I used the same orange for the backing as I used for the sashing. Of all the solids, it seemed the most autumnal to me.

I like how some of the stippling reminds me of oak tree leaves. And I love those pumpkins! It's been washed so it's all crinkly and yummy :)

The table runner's currently listed at my Etsy shop. Sold!

Shop Update!

Shop's been updated with some of the quilts I've been working on lately. There'll be another baby quilt coming soon (made with Moda fabric), and I'm working on making a lap quilt for snuggling on the couch.

In the meantime, I'm trying to ignore the quilt I'm working on for our bedroom. I got a bunch of Moda Wonderland fabric designed by MoMo and I cannot wait to get it made!!! Must. Resist.

Back to sewing and petting my Moda Wonderland fabric...

Shop Update

Just updated the shop with a baby quilt I completed a couple days ago. I adore it so much because the colours are light and cheery, and it was inspired by the new spring.

I couldn't list it till today because I wanted to rework some parts of the binding that I wasn't too happy with. The hubs thinks I'm nuts because he can't see what I was pointing to when I was explaining what I was doing.

The backing fabric is one of my favourites and the day after I decided to use it for the quilt, I dashed out and got more to replace it. I suppose I'm hoping I'll one day have a little girl of my own to make a quilt for!

Right now I'm working on a baby boy quilt of the same dimensions, and that should be added to the store in a couple days.

Shop Update

Another Main Street Scarf added to the shop! I love how this one came out... definitely need to knit myself and the hubs one each before next autumn comes round. Can't wait to see what colour combinations the dear boy will come up with...

Updates have been few and far between because winter's winding down and I'm going to have less knitwear and more everyday things up soonish. And lately, my knitting's been for family and myself, so there's that too.

Shop Update

Just updated the shop with the Main Street Scarf.

I had to pry them out of the hub's hands and promise to knit him one in whatever colours he chooses. He's lucky he's pretty.

Shop Update

I updated the shop with the new ruffle scarves... I ended up calling them Swirly Twirly. Just because it makes me laugh.

I'm toying with the idea of knitting cushion covers and sewing cushions to fit whatever size or shape they end up being. I'll have to look into what stuffing does best with cushions -- I wouldn't want them going flat after a while. Or at all, really... it annoys me greatly when my cushions lose their poof.
