Tokyo Dreamer Camera Straps

I've been contemplating buying a camera strap because I'm not really fond of doubling as a walking Canon advertisement. (No offence, Canon. I heart you muchly.) I'd spied the Tokyo Dreamer camera strap on Making It Lovely a while ago and have been pondering ever since. I finally bit the bullet and hit the 'purchase' button.

No prizes for guessing that I bought the blue one :) Plus I like that the words kind of fade into the blue background. And I'm glad that little film case is detachable because otherwise, I know I'll get annoyed by it and be forced to chew it off.

Pinterest = Time Suckage

I finally decided to get on Pinterest and I love finding all these new things. It's almost like sharing your scrapbook with everyone, and sneaking a peek at theirs.

(That's possibly the worst explanation of Pinterest ever. Sorry, Pinterest.)

It's become a source of severe time suckage, but I suppose it's better than doing housework :) Anyway, here's a few things I've found and pinned on my boards.

I've wanted to make jar pies for ages but couldn't be stuffed to figure out temperature and time on my own. Someone else has figured this out, so there should be many little jar pies in my future.

I don't know if it's because I've recently started delving into photography, but I love pictures of girls with cameras. This one's such a great shot... even if it is a Nikon...

(Please don't send me hate mail if you use a Nikon. Sarcasm doesn't translate well online.)

When I saw Space Dust by Tula Pink, my jaw actually fell open. It's beyond comprehension how she came up with this mind-blowing quilt.

My husband would LOVE this indoor smores maker. By the way, I've never had a smore, and I believe this oversight will keep me from getting my US citizenship if I ever apply... that and my hatred of peanut butter + chocolate together (separately they're awesome).

Hello? Is it me you're looking for? This made me laugh so hard. The hubs tells me it's not so new, I told him to shut it. Politely, of course.

Love Love

Totally loving these pieces from Melbourne-based label, Love.

Steel coated bicycle necklace, $75.

Want. Want. Want.

Ice Cream To Go

This Ice Cream Keeper from MoMA's store is super cute and keeps ice cream cold for 90 minutes. That's possibly bad news because it sounds like I could have ice cream in my purse. And goodness knows I don't need 90 minutes to make it disappear.

Etsy Finds

I should be sewing but instead I'm browsing Etsy. Super productive. Way to go, me.

Love stacking rings.

A necklace that's totally me :)

Pretty pretty! I love rings with a nice, chunky stone. Which is why my Mum always said she pitied the man who'd propose to me. Poor hubs.

The Hardest Button To Button

How cute are these?! I totally forgot about these buttons my husband got me while we were in Northampton. (When we got out of the car he says to me matter of factly, "I would like to get you something today", and this is what I chose lol)

They're from Essentials, a store that tests my resolve every single time I enter. And yet I cannot help but go in everytime I'm in Northampton. I'm a sucker for cute, what can I say?

CupCakeGenius

My sister has just alerted me to the awesomeness that is the Debbie Meyer CupCakeGenius 2-piece set. (They need to rework that name I think... it doesn't quite roll off the tongue.)

I was just talking to the hubs about making cupcakes and filling them with Nutella... this would come in very handy! Not like I need more rubbish in my kitchen...

Blogs And Coffee

I do believe I need this print. Yep, I do.

(Btw, my Dad had that mug next to the typewriter! His was maroon though. I always loved those mugs not only because they remind me of him, but they're just smart. With my two Ragdoll cats shedding vulgar amounts of fur, I really ought to get myself one.)

Utility + Art = Awesome

Saw these on Poppytalk and thought they were just brilliant! They're from pid.se (Personal Interior Design) out of Sweden.

The Drop XL is just amazing and I'd like one, please.

Not sure I'd want the Wannabe but I think it's pretty damn cute.

Portable Barbecue

I'm really loving the Notebook Portable Grill from Design Within Reach that folds flat to the size of a laptop. Perfect for a barbecue / picnic for two!

P/S: It's on sale with free shipping!

Are They Serious?

So there's this litterbox about to be released called Modkat that features a top entry.

It's cute, but at $180, I think they've lost the plot. I couldn't bring myself to spend that much on something that holds the stuff that come out of my cats' rear ends.

And seeing as it's about as big as they are, they'd get very stuck or topple that thing on their first try.

New Favourite Find

I L-O-V-E this thing. Those 3M Lint Rollers are fine, but you need so many strips just to get a little bit of hair off. Now my couch actually looks like a couch, not just a large pile of cat hair. So thank you Pledge. Thank you for your Fabric Sweeper.

Just watch... Now that I've professed my undying love for it, it'll be discontinued in a matter of months. I got my eye on you Pledge.
