I asked the hubs if he wanted something to eat. He asked if I'd make a fried egg sandwich. With peanut butter. I thought he was trying to be funny. He was not.
Me: "Seriously?"
Hubs: "Yeah! It's good!"
Me: "Uhhh... okaaaaay... So, umm, do I put peanut butter on one side or both?"
Hubs: "Just one side."
Me: "Yeah. Because both would just be disgusting."
Insert eye roll.
Apparently his family likes to eat this. We've been together over seven years and I've never known him to do this. Suddenly it's a family tradition. What. Also, he informed me that I'd made the egg wrongly. Umm, he ordered wrongly. You want it sunny side up, you say sunny side up. Duh. Do you know how difficult it would've been to fit FOUR eggs sunny side up on bread??? He'd have to eat it between two pieces of naan hehehe
I watched him eat it. I kept laughing and taking pictures because I couldn't believe someone would willingly eat that. I mean, I'm Chinese, so admittedly, I eat a lot of weird shit. But eggs + peanut butter = no. Jellyfish? Always yes.

that is awesome...and no, i don't think an egg and peanut butter sandwich will be on my to eat list. :)
Seriously? Eggs ... peanut butter? Yeah ... can't say I'm gonna try that one. Now ... feed to my hubs ... I'd be darn tempted :)
Hilarious! Sounds like something that would go on in our house. :) Not sure I would try it though.
You SURE he wasn't shitting you? lol. And then couldn't back down and admit defeat?
Too funny. Not trying it because I only ever eat eggs with ketchup. Lots of ketchup. To cover up the egg-y-ness. I'm not a huge egg fan.
Oh no: that's using the wrong part of breakfast! Feed him a PB and BACON sandwich, and eggs-PB will never cross his mind again. Seriously, PB and bacon, preferably on whole wheat toast (PB both sides, BTW). Salty, greasy, crunchy, awesomeness.
My husband eats this too, except with the eggs still runny! I seriously can't look at him when he's eating it and the pb and egg run out of the sandwich together. Yuck. I thought he was the only one!
amazing!
That is truly vile. Now I can get behind PB and bacon as one commenter mentioned :) and I'm leaving the jellyfish all alone!
Love eggs. Love peanut butter. Not together.
