I made cookies! I don't often bake cookies because baking a cake is a thousand times less tedious. But the hubs sent in a request (by that, I mean he actually emailed me a formal request) for chocolate chip cookies. And since I don't take direction well at all, I made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.
And afterwards when we were munching on cookies...
Me: "I think I still prefer oatmeal raisin."
Hubs: "NO. YOU ARE WRONG."
Me: "What?! It's my personal preference!"
Hubs: "You're wrong. WRONG."
Me: "You're telling me my opinion is wrong?"
Hubs: "Yes."
Me: "Your nipples are not level."
Hubs: "What?!?! Bullshit."
Then the conversation included a ruler, a level and picture-taking. I can't be blamed... I have ADD, and he's tall so that's where my eyes rest when I face him.
We're really not for everyone.

Those are my favorite cookies to make and eat! The oatmeal adds a nice texture. Although I like raisins I like chocolate chips better in cookies - yum!

Those look delicious! I love adding choc. chips to my oatmeal cookies too. Hubby hates when I do that since he likes the raisins instead. If you're baking them, make 'em how you want 'em!

Lol! They look delicious. In fact, I have a batch of oatmeal raisin in the oven RIGHT NOW. But I always try to throw in some craisins, too.

either way you can't go wrong with raisin or chocolate chips if they are homemade. I'm sure you would never lie about the nipple thing either.

ps--my go-to oatmeal cookie recipe uses dried cherries instead of raisins. My favorite combo is chocolate chips, dried cherries and almond butter in my oatmeal cookies. But I am also a weird duck, so there's that. :)
I'm kinda loving pumpkin choc.chip cookies right now....you might want to give them a try they seem to have a cake like texture....and are so yummy.
