I'm in love with this quilt. I love it so much I almost want to give birth to a baby boy, name him Dylan Jacob just so I can keep it. Pretty sure the hubs would have something to say about that...I picked the colours out of my stash and decided to keep it mostly solids just because I knew my cousin Cheryl has very simple tastes, and it's difficult to guess what kind of prints people like. If you get it right, it's wonderful... if you don't, well... it's the big suck.
I quilted it in very thin lines, which nearly drove me crazy. It always happens with thin lines though, doesn't it?
Before you begin, it's the greatest idea EVER. Halfway through you're wondering if maybe you can hand it over half quilted and call it a day. But, and this is the important bit, once you get to the end, you're so thrilled with yourself, you cut yourself a big slice of chocolate cake and eat yourself stupid. True story.
I did put a little FMQ on the quilt though... I quilted the little man's name on the side of the block. I don't know if you can read it, but even if you can't just say you can, okay? :)
