Snow! Again!

More snow today. It's been a 'warm' January up until this morning, so even though this is not a lot of snow, it's quite a shock to the system. You know what else is shocking? When you're standing in your backyard taking photos and then you slip and fall on your ass. And you hope like hell your neighbours aren't standing by the window watching this comedy show. Camera's fine, knee was a little wonky but thankfully I'm not hurt. To all my friends who've asked me to go skiing... NO. Standing is already a difficulty. Slapping things on my feet to go faster would be a disaster.

Gorgeous pictures! I'm in Ohio and we have no snow as of today. It was in the mid 50's this past weekend so that took care of what little we did have. Hope your knee is okay! Skiing- definitely not- although I would be laughing my butt off all the way down the hill- I know those trees would get in my way!:)

Thank you for always keeping it real and making me laugh! Glad you're okay!

Lucky! We're basically without snow here in Alaska, which is ridiculous. Your yard looks beautiful.

I bet if you tried skiing, you'd love it. Getting out and active in the snow is the key to enjoying winter.

ha ha. We are so much alike in that manner. I went ski-ing ONCE when my then almost-my-husband talked me into going to the local ski hill. We went up the "bunny hill" and I ended up "walking" down the hill (sideways), I must have looked like a complete idiot. Never, ever, ever again. Not even if my kids want me to go!
Same with skating, I am the worlds worst.....just yesterday hubby tried to talk me into going~ "Oh yeah, you should come along, you skate well"...oh yeah, on my butt maybe.... lol. Roll on April when the snow's all gone.

Oh how pretty! It never snows in Texas :( Love the red branches. What kind of tree/bush is it?

Sorry to hear that you are skiing impaired. I am not a downhiller myself but I've biffed it many a time on cross-country skis. And walking in snow or on ice. Not sure I've ever fallen when standing…. but there's a first time for everything. Hope your ass and knee aren't damaged permanently!
