Thankful

Thankgiving still doesn't mean as much to me as those born and raised in the States, but I love that we all say what we're thankful for at the dinner table. So here's a few things I'm thankful for this year...

Family - I've always held my family close to my heart, but their love and support has meant more to me than ever this year since my grandma's passing. I miss her every day, and having my family to lean on is the biggest blessing anyone could ask for.

New friends - It gets more difficult to make good friends as you get older. And I'm really picky about people I choose to spend my time with, so the fact that I made not one, but two good friends this year is quite extraordinary. Shannon and Shauna, I'm forever grateful.

This blog - When I started this blog, I had no idea that it'd mean as much to me as it does now. I've made so many friends (bloggy friends are friends, in my opinion) and met so many great people. And whenever someone pops by the LQS I work at and tells me they read my blog, it thrills me. I never know what to do with my hands and I get somewhat embarrassed, but I'm always thrilled.

WhatsApp - I love WhatsApp. I get to text my sisters in Singapore and Australia constantly, and I don't have to pay a cent! Well, aside from the 99 cents I paid for it, that is! And ever since I downloaded it, we've chatted more than we ever have. I love those girls, and chats with them never fail to put a huge smile on my face.

What are you thankful for this year?

Happy American Thanksgiving! I am thankful for bloggy-friends, too. Even those that celebrate a month and a half late. ;)

Well, I had pumpkin pie over a month ago but any excuse, right? Have a slice for me!
