The hurricane passed through here yesterday and we're fine, the house is fine. But we've been without power since 8am on Sunday morning so it's getting very tiring. I hope it comes back on soon but we have plenty of water so that helps.
Hope everyone made it out of this unscathed too!

That's horrible that you have no electricity, but I'm glad your all ok.
Glad to hear that you're all o.k. there. We just had lots and lots (and lots!) of rain. Power outages all around us, but thankfully we were o.k. Our girls were hoping for power outages as then school would be cancelled. Hee Hee.
Good here too, we had water in the basement and mainly lost sleep due to having to keep an eye on the pump, but luckily we didn't lose power. It teased us by flickering a lot, but that's about it. Hope your power returns soon, have you busted out the board games?

I hope you get your power back soon! We weathered it through extremely well, as we didn't even lose power! Time for some embroidery--or hand quilting?

Like you, we weathered storm in my neck of the woods in NH just fine, an hour north not so much. So although I am happy no damage, the no electricity thing is starting to be a bit much.The sounds of generators fill the air.....
Glad you're ok, too! We were without power for about 3 days, and while we lost all that was in the fridge, it could've been a lot worse. The library where I work is still without power, and UI says it won't be up til next Tuesday, the earliest. Vive le weekend?
