Let The Sewing Begin!!!

Tonight I'll finally get back to my sewing machine :) And I'll start with piecing these squares into a custom patchwork quilt. All I could do during the power outage was cut fabric so I've had these waiting for a few days now.

And today, I went fabric shopping with a new friend, Shannon. Last week she'd popped into the shop and we got to chatting... We've decided we're going to the DS sample sale together so we can leave our husbands at home! It turns out she lives super close to me, so it looks like we're going to have lots of quilty adventures together :)
