I asked the hubs what the hell spaghetti bands were since I kept hearing that term used whenever they talk about the hurricane.
His response?
"We're past the spaghetti and we're now in the ziti. Soon we'll be in the fusilli."
Hurricane humour at its best.
I hope everyone stays safe and is prepared for loss of power. I'm not thrilled about being without electricity for days, but there's no use in pouting about it. I just hope it doesn't last long if it does happen. See you guys on the other side.

I'm right there with you in CT! Stay safe--should be interesting overnight...
you know you're desperate when you hit the dry ramen band . . .
Does that make it "windy" with a chance of meatballs?
Hope it doesn't hit you too bad! Though now might be a good time to start a hand-piecing project...
11pm Saturday evening....how are your weather conditions in CT?
You guys doing ok? I heard CT got hit pretty hard. All is well in Leesburg, VA.
