1. Her TSA lock was missing.
2. Her things had been rifled through.
3. Two brand new iPads WERE MISSING.
Missing. Gone. Stolen.
Some piece of shit opened my sister's suitcase, went through her belongings and helped themselves to what was not theirs to take. Who the hell does that?! What is wrong with people??? Granted, she should've probably put the iPads in her carry-on, but that's really not the point here.
I'm shaking with anger right now. Whether or not my sister gets reimbursed by the airline or travel insurance, this is just not acceptable.
And to the waste of space who did this, just remember... Karma's one hell of a bitch.
*Edit: Oh and they took her brand new Coach laptop case too. I hate people so much...

Yeah, lesson learned & totally aggravating! My sister put her camera in her suitcase and wha-la, it was gone. I don't put anything of value in my suitcase and I always pack my bras on top, fully spread out alongside a package of tampons or pads--I've noticed that the "rifling" stopped after that.
oh man, that's awful. What a violation. I hope she gets reimbursed quickly!
oh i am so sorry! that super sucks! i am always amazing at the horrible things people do to each other. my husband had his bike stolen right out in front of his during morning...had a huge bike lock on it and no one said anything when the person stole it..it was his pride and joy and it made me sooo sick to see him so upset! i was beyond upset, i wanted to find that person and give them a piece of my mind. yes karma is a bitch and i hope whoever stole your sisters things pays for it dearly.

Despicable! Some people are just such total s***s. I hope your sister gets reimbursed but its a poor consellation.
That really does suck. I had my suitcase violated more than once so I never put anything really valuable in there anymore. Hopefully she will get reimbursed, but it does not erase what happened :(

Wow seriously? Gosh this makes me freaking pissed off and I don't even know your sister. I hate how people like that make you feel like you can't trust anyone! So freaking frusterating.
Tell your sister I'm sorry and hope she gets reimbursed! What airline was it if you don't mind me asking?
