Dad's 61 today! (Yup, my parents have birthdays four days apart.)The man loves to talk, loves golf, loves chocolate... but most of all, loves his girls. He's always been the first to encourage me, and tell me anything's worth trying once. He makes sure to tell me he loves me and is proud of me... and he told me my quilts are works of art, not just quilts. Aww, Dad.
Daddy, I love you and miss you... I even miss your lame dad jokes we pretend to hate. I want for you what you want for me... only good things :)
(That's my favourite picture of Dad and I, taken at my wedding here in CT. He probably likes it too because it's of him finally off-loading me...)
