Bunting for my sister, all sewed onto some light purple binding. She'd wanted purple fabrics too, but unfortunately I couldn't find any that looked good with the rest of the fabrics, or that she'd like. So I figured purple string would be nice.
She asked for two lengths of bunting, and was very adamant that they not touch when strung up. I did my best... she'll just need to adjust it a little if necessary.
I'm really hoping she doesn't think there's too much pink in here. I added in the strong pink because I couldn't find any purples or reds that'd look nice in the mix. If it turns out she doesn't like this, I'll probably just keep this for myself and make another set for her.

Very cute! I think she will love it...who wouldn't? I have been wanting to make a banner, was it pretty easy?
Thanks Erin :) It was fairly easy... I made a template (6" across, 6" long) so that made it the cutting process shorter. Sewed up the sides, flipped it inside-out, ironed it flat and cleaned up the open side, then sewed it into a prepared binding. Let me know if you try it!
whats it forrrrrr?
super cute!
I think you should add "happy birthday" to them and sell them.
I'd totally buy them!
THANK YOU!!! I love you soooo much!!! :-)

Great job on the bunting! This is a project that has been on my to-do list for as long as I can remember. Perhaps I'll finally make some!
The bunting is gorgeous, I actually prefer the softer shades you used, in spite of usually going myself for strong colours.
