Yesterday was the hub's 30th birthday and unfortunately it wasn't much of a celebration because of the stupid Frankenstorm that's headed our way. Our initial plan was to go to NYC for the weekend but decided to stay home instead. So we spent the day preparing for the storm as best we can... we don't really know what to expect so we're just hoping for the best. I promised the hubs we'll celebrate his birthday properly once this bullshit's over with.
I hope everyone who's affected by the storm stays safe. I'm sure we'll lose power but our generator's hooked up so hopefully that'll make things a lot less painful this time round. Just keeping fingers crossed that there's no damage from the strong winds that are expected. I just wish it was over already!!!

What a PITA this storm has become. I'm in Delaware and we are due to get a direct hit. I hope all goes better than forecasted. I hate it when the power goes out and really wish we had a generator. Oh well, lots of family time ahead in the next couple days, which isn't a terrible thing :) Stay safe!!

Hope you stay warm and safe! I'm in Ohio and we're getting rain and alot of wind. We're getting a mixture of snow with it this morning! We also bought a generator last summer and am hoping we don't have to use it. Happy birthday to your hubs!:)
