Blogger's Quilt Festival - Single Girl Quilt

My entry for this Blogger's Quilt Festival is my precious Single Girl Quilt that I worked on during the first half of the year.

This is probably my favourite quilt I've ever made (I know I say that all the time but this time, it's true, dammit!!) because it took a lot of patience, I learned new things, I worked with one of my favourite collections, and I finally made a quilt that I've been wanting to make for years!

I had my friend and boss Laura quilt it with the baptist fan pattern, and it came out so beautifully. I washed it and the quilting showed up even more... and you know I sat there for the longest time just running my hands over it!!!

If you'd like to look over the process that went into making this quilt, click here.

Thanks for taking a peek, and if you're new to my blog, I hope you take a bit of time to have a look around. I apologise for my sarcasm and corny sense of humour in advance.

And major thanks to Amy for once again hosting this amazing festival!!!

I was wondering if you were going to enter this time round...

I love this quilt. I loved it when you first showed, and I love it now. I still haven't started my Single Girl...

Really hope you don't lose power with the storm. My mum's name is Sandy and she's feeling really guilty about it.

Goodness, this is a gorgeous quilt. I don't know that I've seen a single girl quilt with anything other than a white background and I must say yours is absolutely stunning. I love, love, love the gray. I found you through the Blogger's Quilt Festival - mine is number 254. :)

I've seen a lot of these quilts round the traps but I honestly think yours is one of the cutest I've seen. You're right- that quilting is utterly perfect (Ive been staring at it for the last 5 minutes myself and trying to touch it through my monitor )

I can see why this is your favourite dammit!

Your quilt is beautiful and I love the overall texture the baptist fan pattern creates. I used it myself on a quilt earlier this year.
