Over the long weekend, I made German pancakes. The hubs was home from work so I thought let's make something special. The pancake in front looks all weird because the hubs now asks for cinnamon sprinkled on his pancake before baking. I think it looks like animal print, no?
Anyway, this conversation took place...
Me: "I gave Katy the recipe and she figures that German pancakes are sort of like Yorkshire pudding but sweet. And I think she's right."
Hubs: "What's a Yorkshire pudding?"
Me: "It's like German pancakes, but not sweet."
Hubs: "Thanks?"
:)

What's a Yorkshire pudding? What's a Yorkshire pudding? You need to take your hub on a holiday to Yorkshire :)
Love me some german pancakes! I put a little apple pie filling on top of mine once they're baked...yummy!

love it, thanks for a good laugh!
I'm glad you're so helpful. Thanks for the recipe link, too.
Yum! These look sooo good!
Hi there over the great big sea!
German pancake? Seems as if a German pancake in America is not the same as a german Pancake in Germany.
I never have seen these little cake pans.
Hm.
Normally we do the pancakes in a bigger pan, not in the oven but obove and the cake is turned around (will be baked on both sides).
Your method seems to me a little bit easier, so that I have to try it!I only have to find these little pans somewhere....
Schöne Grüße
Siggi
