Just some thoughts and things going on around here...
I really shouldn't be allowed to rewrite lyrics or sing.
I've been cutting scraps to make one of Katy's scrap vomit quilt because I have SO many scraps. I mean SOOOOOO many. I've cut many 2.5" squares and it doesn't seem to have made a damn bit of difference to my scraps. Mortifying. There are a lot of happy fabrics in there but there are a few vomity and ugly ones. It only adds to the awesomeness of the scrap vomit.
And I started working on a 16-patch quilt with Hello Luscious before I left for NYC. I think I like it. It's all prints and no solids (I'm fine, I promise) so it ends up being a little busy but I really like it. So girly without being sickly sweet. Love.
What's everyone working on or up to these days?

If you ask me, you are an amazing lyric re-writer!! In fact, your song makes me really want to eat an egg!
Thanks, Audrie--I'll be singing that rewrite all day. Beats the rewrite of the Safety Dance that I've been singing the last 2 days!
Funny, I saw that Katy was starting yet another Scrap Vomit quilt and thought "You know, I really do need to make one of those--my scraps are outta control!". Is it wrong that I actually like sorting, pressing and cutting scraps? If it is, I don't wanna be right.
Finally, I don't know what's for dinner, but I believe I'll put an egg on it...
I made a granny square quilt from hello luscious and it turned out very nice (just saying)
Have a great day
Love your lyric rewrite. I like adding eggs to things too, although I favour them boiled rather than fried.
I was looking at my scraps last night and thinking about a Scrap Vomit quilt - might have to get cutting!
Don't know if you like Mexican food, but if you ever get a chance, try enchiladas with a fried egg on top. Pure awesomeness!
Darn, now I will have ear worm with that lyric in my head all day. Live the quilt, I have a FQ stack of Hello Luscious set aside for Swoon...I am so behind.....
The eggs look good and the rewrite's not bad either!:) I'm working on a picnic quilt for myself using Lucy's Crab Shack- LOVE this line! I just made one for my daughter and thought it would be nice to make myself one. Why are we always the last to make for ourselves? I made the tote too and it's adorable BUT I must have used the wrong interfacing- glad I goofed on mine and not hers. I used Craft fuse and it was a mistake! I'll have to figure out what to use to make my daughter's- there are sooo many different kinds out there! You wouldn't happen to have any ideas, would you? :)
