Pops Of Yellow

I was looking at my pictures over the last few days and realised there's pops of yellow everywhere. Isn't it supposed to be St Patrick's Day next week? Shouldn't it be green? That's me and rules... never on the same page hehe

I think I'm done with the quilt top for the duckie quilt. As you can see, I took inspiration from Elizabeth's Mod Sampler, just without the sashing and border.

I can't tell you how many times I've moved the squares around. *stab stab stab* I think I'm done trying to move things around... this is how it's going to end up or I'll start bawling.

I was at work yesterday and a leprechaun gave me a gold coin.

Yes, you read that right. I told the leprechaun that gold coin better contain chocolate. It did. And we lived happily ever after.

And one of the ladies attends the quilting classes gave each of us a rose. Yesterday was the first anniversary of her daughter's passing and she wanted to commemorate it. I'm amazed I had any eyeliner left because I started tearing up. How could you not?
