Philly... I Want To Go Back To There

We went to Philadelphia with a couple of friends this past weekend, and I think I'm in love with the city. The weekend went by too quickly, and we didn't even see half of what we wanted to see, so a proper visit is definitely in the cards.

We did lots of walking and took a couple of wrong turns but it was so much fun :) I didn't take a lot of pictures because it was so cold and windy that I had my hands firmly planted in my pockets. But we found record stores and bookstores we need to revisit, and there's plenty more cheese steaks to be eaten.

A sticker that said "I Got Done By Audrey" cracked us up!

(FYI, it's marketing for a stylist lol!)

Brunch at Honey's Sit 'N Eat was insanely good. We waited for what seemed like forever (when you're hungry, waiting is not fun) but I believe I speak for all when I say it was worth the wait. A friendly guy came up to the hubs and started chatting... my friends looked puzzled (they're jaded New Yorkers) so I had to explain that it often happens to Steve because he has a friendly face hehe

Philly! You're getting closer to me, I'm about an hour or so away. Were you on South Street? I use to go there a lot in my teenage years, but haven't been there in a long time, not sure if it's changed at all, but lots of fun stores.

You picked one of my favorite foodie spots - Honey's! If you get back - try my new favorite - The Pub and Kitchen.

I just stumbled upon your blog via JayBird Quilts. I'm glad you had fun in Philly! It's definitely a great town. I hope you had a chance to check out Spool at 19th and South! If not, put it on your list for your next trip. They are super nice in there: http://www.spoolsewing.com/.

I grew up just outside of Philly. It's a great city, but try to go at Christmas time, it's amazing.
