It is with great displeasure that I inform you my house currently smells like skunk. Again. The temperature dropped a little tonight so I threw the windows and doors open with wild abandon only to be slapped in the face (or nose) by one of the many gifts of nature.
Not cool, Nature. Not cool.

Oh it could be so much worse, if that smell attaches to your pet, its a week or more of misery for everyone! Tomato juice baths anyone?
Maybe draw and nice design on the peg for your nose...?
Ooooohhhhh Noooooooo! And here I was upset because I've had to relocate or viciously murder three exceptionally large spiders in my bedroom this week! Good luck with the skunk smell!
Funny, to us but not to you. My sister-in-law had her two dogs sprayed the other day and they still smell. Baking soda with hydrogen peroxide is what worked the best out of all the suggestions. Steph
Out here it's a choice between the skunky smell or the stinky poo smell from the hog farm down the road (huge farm at least a mile away). Even when we have our own hogs they don't stink like that place. Anyway I'll take the skunk over the hog smell. :D
The smell better be gone by the time I get there in October!! Either that I have to walk around with a perfume bottle shoved up my nostril.
Is that the equivalent of having possum pee outside your window (in Australia)? I'd imagine skunks are on a totally different scale. Although my sole experience of skunks is via Bugs Bunny (Pepe Le Peu)....
Last week a skunk was in my backyard. Luckily, he was just getting an orange off the tree and didn't spray, but strange how a little guy can cause so much fear!! Made me jump! - mary
Oh I hear you - I hit a skunk once with my car and I couldn't go near the car for a month - that smell is horrible
