It's a quiet day here at Chez Bleu... The hubs is out helping his dad with some computer crisis (I'm staying out of it because I'd probably make it worse) and I'm just puttering around my studio.
The cats are doing lots of lazing. Oh I could chew on that foot...Occasionally they find a bug to chase which irritates me to no end because they're big chunks of cat, which means they smash into everything since they're incapable of stopping their body weight when they want to.
My lunch looked so pretty I had to take a picture of it. I don't fancy summer and all the heat that it brings, but I do love eating salads on a daily basis. I've already started freezing coffee into cubes so I can have iced coffee with coffee ice cubes. All summer long, yo.

I'm one of those people who if given the opportunity would never go outside until I run out of food. I think my current record is an entire week. I'm really just a hermit in pretty clothes.
I apologise... I don't really know the point of this post. I thought I had something when I started and I was this close to hitting delete. I believe I'll go for a run now because I need to do something to keep me away from the orange cake I baked last night. Why do I do that to myself? It's so good though... There's this syrup you make and drizzle over the cake while it's warm... Erm... yes, a run would do me well.

That's my wisdom for the day. Oh and I too want to nibble on my cats feet but then I remember she scrapes them about in kitty litter Eeeew!!!

you're funny even when you don't mean to, that's what i really love about your blog :)
and this post made me happy about myself in two very odd ways:
- first, because i may be the only person in the world who doesn't like orange cake, hence is not tempted by your teasing. if you'd bragged about chocolate cake though it would be a completely different story
- second, i think i have the guiness record on staying home. last year i had a really really really big flu, so i stayed home for 2 months. i went to the doctor twice, but i don't count that because i had so many layers of clothes that my skin never saw the daylight :)
I loves the kitty feet! My cat was letting me squish the pads of her feet yesterday (she never lets me do that)
