Sure there's a lot of things on my Pro list, but I've given my mother plenty of grief over the years. If I've my mind set on something, there's pretty much no way to talk me out of it. I'm one of those people who need to just do what they need to do, and learn from mistakes when everything goes pear-shaped. It's not the best quality of mine, but it's led me to lots of good things. The hubs is my favourite good thing :)
Anyway, my point is, my mum has put up with a lot of crap from me and it amazes me that she still loves me and looks forward to my emails. Well she's kind of contractually obligated to. But still. I used to hate it when people would tell me that I'm starting to become my mother. Now I take it as a compliment. She's pretty amazing, and I could do a lot worse.
So Mum, I wish you a very Happy Mother's Day. You do so much for everyone and ask for so little in return. I thank you for everything you do, and for not bugging me about giving you grandkids like Dad does because ohmygodsoannoying. Thanks for the boobs and skinny calves. Almost makes up for the grey hairs and lack of bum.And a very Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful mother's out there :) I hope you get the chance to kick back and relax today!!
[Let me explain the strawberry... it's my mother's favourite flavour of anything so strawberries always remind me of her. This one kind of looked like a heart :)]

What a sweet post. I have a son like you....he is one awesome son but has to learn on his own timetable and in his own way.
What a nice post to your mom, and as soon as I saw the strawberry thumbnail photo I saw the heart immediately. :)
Haven't stopped by in a while, but you point hit home and is so well taken. Love the pics and your beautiful yard.
