1933 Single Irish Chain Quilt

When I first saw the Moda 1933 fabrics, I fell in love. Fell hard. I normally don't work with 1930s reproduction prints but I've always flirted with the idea. So when Chloe's Closet came out with this line, I had to do something with them!

I thought a simple single irish chain quilt would be perfect for the prints. It's old school but not boring, and the end result is just so sweet :)

I used my two favourite prints for the backing and binding.

Red + tiny flowers = LOVE.

The quilt ended up measuring 41" by 53" and it's currently in the shop SOLD! :)

ooooh, love it! I've been flirting with 1930's this week, too. Sometimes those happy colors just call to you. Your Irish chain is perfect!

The colors are so soft, yet so clear.

So sweet. I love the simplicity of it. That backing fabric is my favorite too. I've been waffling about getting some . . .Oh, alright, you've talked me into it.

Fantastic quilt! I've been tossing around the idea of an Irish Chain. This is definitely going into my inspiration folder.
