Nicey Jane Charm Quilt

Oh how the Nicey Jane line makes me yearn for daughters so I can make them dresses and quilts and other pretty things out of it.

I made a simple quilt with Nicey Jane charms... I haven't plucked up the courage to cut into my half yard cuts quite yet. I was going to sash it in a light grey but I think the white makes the colours pop a little bit more.

All that crinkly goodness. Sooooo crinkly.
I've met people who don't like the crinkly business. I don't understand how anyone could dislike it! It's yummy and you just want to squish it all day long.

I just used a green and white dot for the backing and binding in keeping with the simplicity of the quilt. I think the beautiful Nicey Jane fabric deserves to be the centre of attention :)

More crinkly yummy goodness... *Squish*

It's now in the shop SOLD!!

I love the crinklies. My sister doesn't like close-together quilting so maybe she doesn't like crinklies either. Weird. This quilt is beautiful!!

The Nicey Jane quilt is so very nice. And I can't wait to hear all about the new machine after you have used her. I have the 6600 and love it, but the updated version would be awesome.......sigh.

Sometimes, simple designs look simple, but not this time. This quilt is really pretty. Nice job letting the fabrics do their thing.

This quilt is great! I have an Amy Butler charm pack from one of her earlier lines. I think it would look great in a simple quilt like this. And crinkly goodness!
