(They look a little saggy and baggy because I don't have 20" pillows and had to use 18" ones for the pictures.)
My sisters aren't handling the news very well (not to say that I am, but I think I'm more accepting of death), but the person I feel most terrible for is my mother. She's the one who'd take my grandmother to her doctor appointments, bible study, church, etc. My mother is not the sort to burden others with her feelings of sadness but I hope she'll make it a point to lock the door behind her and have a good cry.
I got more news from home, cried my eyes out (and scared the crap out of my husband because he was asleep), and am now just hoping for the best. She's not doing so great, but at least she's not in pain.

{hug hug hug} It's terrible to see somebody slip away. And any time/any age is a bad time to lose a mom or grandma.
Your pillows are beautiful.
You have my deepest and sincerest wishes for strength for you all. Letting loved ones go home takes a lot of bravery and selflessness, Audrie. I know you're a strong woman and that your family loves you!
The pillows are a beautiful testament to your family's love!
Oh Audrie, I am so sorry for what you are going through. Your pillows are beautiful.
Wish there was something more I could do than admire your cushions and offer support... Big hugs and metaphysical brownies!
Hugs for you and best wishes for your family...
I'm so sorry for you and your family. Loss of a loved one is never easy, and the depth of your emotion is a measurement of your love. I hope that it will be a special time of remembering and cherishing those memories. I pray that you will feel peace and serenity during this time.
I love the gesture of the pillows. It helps to do something pro-active when you are far away. She will love your act of love.
I'm so sorry to hear that things aren't turning around with your grandma. Hang in there. It sounds like you will be a great support for your sisters and your mom.
The pillows turned out beautifully!
