I've always told the hubs I want a little girl. I only have sisters... I don't know anything about little boys. But perhaps a little boy would be pretty amazing... I could make another version of this quilt and have good reason keep it!

It's made with David Walker's Robots fabrics, which I love love love. Robots are high on my list of favourite things, so you can imagine how excited I was when I first saw this collection.
I made the blocks totally improv, then sashed each block in Kona White.
(The improv thing has totally taken hold and it doesn't look like it's going anywhere for a while...)

Those stripes are way too cute.

For the binding I decided to keep it simple with Kona Orange, just to frame the quilt nicely.

The back has two little wonky blocks floating on Kona White... I never do an all-white back so I thought this would be the perfect time to do it. Glad I did because I didn't want to detract from the front or the little robots.

It is such cute fabric, I made a quilt for a friend with it... And little boys are pretty great, too. I have 2 sisters but now have 2 boys...
That is a great quilt! I bet it will be sold really quick. Any little boy would love it!
Your quilt is adorable. I love that fabric line too.
Now that is one cute quilt.
Love this quilt, too cute! I am a huge robot fan for little boys, that's actually going to be the theme for my soon to be two year olds birthday party. :)
I love robots. No reason little girls can't dig'em. :-)
(But I understand. I want all boys. Because I had a sister, too, and I was a terror in the teenage years....lol)
Your quilt = awesome!! That is too cute. And why not for a girl, too?! The bright orange in that line is so happy.
Love these blocks - and I gotta ask...batting?
What type of batting does this have in it?
Thanks! Natalie.
adorable! now i want those fabrics too (but i must stay strong!)
You should totally have a boy so you can make another one!
I made my son a quilt out of that robot fabric, and he really loves it. I used the stripe for the binding, and I really like how that turned out. Here's a pic.
