Colourful Day

I suppose if I had a resolution, it'd be to incorporate more colours into my quilts. I've been working on a scrappy log cabin quilt that definitely fulfills that! And since I've been working with so much colour, it was fitting that I finally received my Kona colour card!

(Note cat butt in top left of the picture)

Ahhh... so pretty. My husband remarked that I was a total quilt geek, jabbering on about colour combinations etc. No argument here :)

And as for the scrappy log cabin quilt, I'd finished quilting it. I took this picture this afternoon while I was taking a little break. It's so wacky that it works (I think). Love it. Pictures to come!

The Kona Color card is just indispensable. There are more Kona cottons that are on there way to me now. I will be loading them up to my online shop by the end of the week. Lots of goodies, be sure to check them out. By the way, we have 3 cat butts in our home!!
