Just in case you thought I've been slacking off all weekend... well I have, but I managed to squeeze out this runner. The cat's not too impressed though.
I used a charm pack of Collection for a Cause Legacy by Howard Marcus and did a disappearing nine-patch pattern. Not only are the reproduction prints gorgeous, but the proceeds of this line go toward finding a cure for Juvenile Diabetes. I think that's pretty special.
I decided to go with the same print for the back and binding because I just love this print (I think it's called Ivory Family). It's busy enough all on its own, plus I didn't want to fuss too much with the design of it.
Here's the back in all its glory. It's all washed and crinkly now, and measures 40" by 15". And it's for sale in the store SOLD! :)

Your work is quite lovely! I'm glad I stumbled across your blog. :)
Well, what does the cat know? I certainly am impressed, and think you did an awesome job! Beautiful fabrics and I love the earthy fall tones!
i would not have thought these were your colors.. but you did a beautiful job!!
Be happy the cat is unimpressed. If cat was impressed, the quilt would never be surrendered and constantly covered in hair.
It is gorgeous. I never would've picked up that floral but you have me loving it. Beautiful.
I love your table runner, it is very very nice....
Really pretty! You are right that it is very special that it benefits diabetes. Great cause!
This is so pretty! I love all of the browns together.
Love this really nice

As always I love this table runner you make!! I seriously need to make of these for myself. I can't WAIT to move at the end of Dec so I can get back to sewing in all my glory!!
it's gorgeous... but the cat is even more so! can we see more pictures of the cat? :)
I love the runner AND the cat. One of my nieces has diabetes (since age 4), which makes this item even more special... Everything you make is just lovely.
