300 posts. Geez, I talk a lot. I wanted to do a giveaway but it's not ready yet because *insert excuse here*. So I'll probably celebrate my 304th post with a giveaway or something... there's also only one of those too, right? Ahem.
Anyway , I finished a quilt a couple days ago and finally got it washed and dried. I used Moda Recess fabric for it... I'm truly in love with anything Sandy Klop designs. Honestly.
I did a sort of checkerboard pattern and initially I did think there was much too much white, but regardless, I like it. You can see the individual squares so much better, which I like. I was about to stipple it and decided to just do straight, diagonal lines.
The back's a yellow dot fabric with faint outlines of blocks within the pattern. I thought that was cute, seeing as the front's all little squares.
I used fabric from Moda Wee Play for the binding. I'm so addicted to American Jane.

i LOVE that quilt!!! it's wonderful. simple is often times best, if you ask me. and could there BE too much white? i don't think so. ;)
