Hello Betty WIP

I didn't want to repeat the pinwheel quilt quite so soon (plus I might actually repeat it with the Happy Campers for the shop), so I thought I'd do something similar... hourglass blocks.

Don't they look like little bowties?

(On a side note, bowties remind me of my dad because he insisted on wearing one at our wedding reception here in CT when I'd chosen ties and vests for all the men in the wedding party. I may be small but I sure am loud... so needless to say, the dear man did not wear a bowtie. He did wear it in the wedding reception held in Singapore though...)

So, back to the quilt... I've been stuck at this stage the last couple days because I don't really know how best to quilt it. Stippling? Diagonal lines along the seams? Argh.

Very cute! I love the Hello Betty collection. I just made a quilt with it myself:

For some reason when I finished it up I was not overly happy with it, but it has re-grown on me. :)
