The other day I was at Anthropologie and I saw a lady point to a typewriter they had as part of their display, and start to explain to her kid what it was, and what it did. I hadn't realised I was that old. Plus it made me kind of sad that my future children would have to be shown a typewriter and explained that this is what we used before we had computers to write letters with.
Which made me think of Walkmans, VCRs, and televisions that weren't flat. Now I want them all back so I can show my future kids.
