I've decided that I'm completely addicted to triangles of any kind. I cannot get enough of them! HSTs, 60° triangles, isosceles triangles. ADDICTED, I SAY.
So for this quilt, I used a kaleidoscope (isosceles) template ruler to cut out the triangles so there's really not much to the pattern. I just wanted these colours to mingle and exist together on a quilt :)
I didn't want to saturate the entire quilt with colour (I think especially with Tangerine in there, it could get to be too much), so I spread them out and used some neutrals in between.
I couldn't figure out what to bind the quilt with... I auditioned for ages and finally my eyes landed on this black and white stripe. Ding ding ding! :)

I like it! I've been wanting to do a 60 degree triangle quilt soon. Do you read Red Pepper Quilts? Because this is very much a binding that she would have chosen!

Oh - love it! The colors and binding fabric choice are perfection.
Great quilt and seeing the different levels of color saturation is helping me with a quilty problem right now! You have oh so successful mixed so not so saturated with a few very much so....I am gonna go for it too! I 'll let you know how it orks out for me!
I[m not surprised it sold so fast - it's wonderful!
OMG! Did you put a brown in there? It looks fantastic, but so unlike you!! I'm probably going to have to be a copy cat again...In fact, I think my new scheme will be to let you come up with the brilliant ideas and then just make one exactly like it for myself. Please begin doubling your fabric purchases so I won't have to be bothered with tracking everything down for myself. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.
I love it and I, too, have been obsessing over triangles lately.

It is just so pretty, Audrie. Glad someone will be enjoying it soon.
