I Got Featured!

Imagine my surprise when Vicki told me my tutorial was featured on One Pretty Thing! (It's the second to last if you go to the post.) I'm sorry if I'm being a complete dork and taking too much glee in this, but this is huge for me! :)

So actually, I retract my apology :P I'm a proud, unapologetic dork.

My First Tutorial!

I'd always wanted to write a tutorial. But I didn't know what I could possibly 'teach' anyone seeing as I only started sewing and quilting last year.

But Vicki of Sew Inspired asked if I'd do a guest post on her blog, and I said of course I would... without knowing what the *bleep* I'd blog about! She suggested I talk about myself or write a tutorial. I'm bored of me, so a tutorial it was.

And here it is! A scrappy patchwork sewing machine cover :) My machine needed one, I needed to write up a tutorial... it worked out great.

Thanks again to Vicki for asking me to do the guest post :) It was a lot of fun writing up the tutorial and hopefully there'll be more tutorials to come.
