I vacuumed. Let's see how long before it's covered in cat fur again... I already see one spot of fur... *hangs head*
And I started working on a quilt for baby Dylan. It took me forever to figure out what colours to go with, what to actually make... as far as I know, my cousin's not a fan of anything too fussy, and she's into graphic design so I thought an improv quilt would work best.
Here's what I've got so far. I hemmed and hawed about leaving out the orange but I finally put it in there because I felt it needed that pop. I'm still deciding whether I like it. I think I do. I didn't really have a plan when I started, but now I'm thinking of making this a giant block and floating it in a light grey.

I think the orange looks great in there. Very nicely done.

I love these improv squares - the orange is a perfect addition. It makes me think of summer windows..don't know why - it was my first impression!
