Stacking fabrics and playing with colours is très fun when taking a break from sewing, and sometimes they look so pretty together that they have to become a quilt, pronto. Plus I had the perfect backing for it, so tada!
The backing is from Carrie Bloomston's line Collage, and I love it to pieces. I love most text fabrics, and this one is just perfection.
I'm pretty terrible at naming quilts, so Peachy Keen popped into my head after A LOT of thinking. But it's kind of cute, right? So the name fits... kind of? I don't know... don't judge me :)
Love it! Stripey binding is the best =)
ReplyDeleteAnother beauty and Peachy Keen fits just fine. I really need to make another triangle quilt : )
ReplyDeleteThese are always such fun quilts! And I buy yards and yards of stripes too for the same reason.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite quilts of yours. You have such an eye for color, it's mind boggling. This quilt will keep somebody very cozy and happy. I love your photos, too. Especially the one against the book shelf.
ReplyDeleteI like how you quilted it minimally, that's what I prefer to do. Keeps them so soft and snuggly.
ReplyDeleteBut you do triangles so well...! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove your colour choices, dear.
thanks ,,,,,
