Bloggers' Quilt Festival - Triangle Quilt

Amy's Creative Side

My entry for the Bloggers' Quilt Festival is the triangle quilt I made a little while ago, and will probably always remain a favourite of mine.

The colours in this quilt were inspired by a day-trip to NYC. The second I got home, I started pulling fabrics from my stash lest I lose my inspiration! I always enjoy playing with solids and colours... and putting together quite unexpected pairings is so much fun to me. The black and white stripe binding seemed to fit perfectly and framed the quilt nicely without interfering with the colours.

Yup, definitely one of my all-time favourites :) Hope you like it too!!!

Thanks again to Amy for hosting the festival... it's always such fun to see the amazing quilts you'd never otherwise see!! Make sure you join in too!!!

I love this one, too. In fact, it's the reason I finally bought a 60 degree triangle ruler. I might actually have to use it now. :-)
