Peachy Keen Triangle Quilt

I made another triangle quilt! Surprise! You guys are shocked. SHOCKED. I can tell.

Stacking fabrics and playing with colours is très fun when taking a break from sewing, and sometimes they look so pretty together that they have to become a quilt, pronto. Plus I had the perfect backing for it, so tada!

I used the last bit of my black and off-white stripe for the binding on this one since it suited the colours a bit better. I think it was a Me & My Sister by Moda... I wish I'd bought tonnes more. Le sigh.

The backing is from Carrie Bloomston's line Collage, and I love it to pieces. I love most text fabrics, and this one is just perfection.

I'm pretty terrible at naming quilts, so Peachy Keen popped into my head after A LOT of thinking. But it's kind of cute, right? So the name fits... kind of? I don't know... don't judge me :)

It's currently available in the shop. SOLD

  3. These are always such fun quilts! And I buy yards and yards of stripes too for the same reason.

  4. This is one of my favorite quilts of yours. You have such an eye for color, it's mind boggling. This quilt will keep somebody very cozy and happy. I love your photos, too. Especially the one against the book shelf.

  5. I like how you quilted it minimally, that's what I prefer to do. Keeps them so soft and snuggly.
