We just spent an amazing weekend catching up with old friends I hadn't seen in almost a decade. I went to high school with both of them in Singapore, and I'd seen them in Melbourne and Perth in Australia over the years. They'd moved to Copenhagen, Denmark for work a little while ago, and are in the midst of moving home to Singapore, so they thought they'd visit relatives who own an inn in New Hampshire. The hubs and I took a little drive up there to spend a weekend with them because how could we not?!
And let me warn you... this post is very photo heavy. I took SO many pictures, but autumn is undoubtedly my favourite, so it's no wonder I got snap happy. Just be thankful I didn't post them all. You're welcome :)
We didn't do much more than eat, chat, go for walks and then eat some more hehe I actually went to bed before midnight... gasp! We took home some apples we picked, a few veggies from the garden, and wonderful memories :) They said there'd be a chance they'd relocate to Westport, CT some time in the future... I really, really hope so!
Ok, guess I have to add NH to the list of places I'd like to see - holy man, are your photos ever pretty, Audrie!
ReplyDeleteMight be the cutest baby in an apple-related setting I've ever seen. He looks like a little Joseph Gordon-Levitt...
Gorgeous photos ... I have been to NH but not in the fall ... one of my and hubby's "someday" trips. Sounds like we should book at this inn.
ReplyDeleteWe lived in NH for nearly 5 years. Loved, loved, loved the fall there. Your photos are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pictures! I would love to visit there
ReplyDeleteThanks for those awesome photos, makes me want to go there also. You might do more advertising for the Inn than they've every gotten before with those photos!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Audrie, your photos have made me so homesick for New England I'm all choked up. I went the other way: raised in NE, now living in the tropics (Hawaii). Yeah, it's nicer here in February, but this time of year I miss foliage something awful. It's humid and sticky right now and I'd love to feel some crisp New England October air. Thanks so much for sharing your photos!
ReplyDeleteI want to go to there...
ReplyDeleteAudrie, I've lived in Francestown for 16 years and I haven't been to the Inn (I know, ridiculous, right?) Seeing your photos, I have to take a ride up there now!
ReplyDeleteBreathtaking scenery. fmoore11589@comcast.net
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pics! Tks for sharing :-)
ReplyDeletePhotos are stunning. In September, friends and I visited Vermont and did a walking tour from B&B to B&B. Similar sites, but the foliage hadn't changed yet. You visited the area at the right time. Thanks!
