Gotye

I can't stop playing this song. It's so raw and lovely and sad.

And he reminds me so much of Sting... and a hint of Peter Gabriel?

  1. I discovered this song today as well. I think I've been playing it on repeat for the last hour at work. Its a sickness.

I am so glad I'm not the only one totally stuck on this song today!

  2. I found that song the other day too - LOVE it. I could listen to it over and over too. Funny thing though - I went to listen to the rest of their music and it was almost annoying? Very strange that this is the only one that stood out to me!

  4. Yes! Sting and Peter Gabriel! I ended up buying the song on itunes so I can keep replaying it. But the video is very cool. I don't see many really creative videos.

  5. Thank you! Totally! Sting and Peter Gabriel are exactly who I thought of too. I had to buy the song the second I saw it in a tv ad. Don't know if I would've found it otherwise. Completely love it.

Also, I've seen a few quilts inspired by the album cover art, which is exactly what it reminded me of...

  11. Check out the cover of this song on YouTube where five people play one guitar. That cover is where I first heard this song. Still a favorite.
