Over the weekend it was snowing and bitterly cold, and looked like this...
So of course we thought it was a perfect day to go walking around Northampton so we could freeze our faces off.
It was loads of fun though. Walking around the snow can be a bit mucky and scary but you can basically walk like a demented toddler and no one will think you're being silly. Probably. Well the hubs kept laughing at how slowly and stupidly I walked, so I kindly reminded him that he dragged me here when we could be living in Australia. HAH.
And I think next time we go prancing around in the snow, in 20F weather, I'll need to get myself a balaclava first. Sure people will think I'm going to rob the bank but who cares!
I love walking in fresh snow! It's so pristine and peaceful. This year I invested in some good earmuffs and it's made it much more pleasant(and may help the peaceful part ...). Great pictures.
