I made a few little things for my sisters...
A gnome mug rug for my little sister Aurelia because she's obsessed with gnomes. 
And a hexie mug rug for my other sister Averil because it's just cute.Neither of them want to use their mug rugs for their mugs *hangs head* Will nobody use their kitcheny things that I make them for their intended purpose?!?! My MIL's oven mitts still hang on her kitchen cabinets, clean as a whistle. Mega fail.
And I made each of them a picture wall hanging with the picture we'd taken with the three of us crammed in a photo booth. Three of us, one photo... wall hangings were the only answer :) After my Mum saw the wall hangings, she asked for one with pictures of the three of us... then somehow it turned into a cover for her bible lol
Great job on your mug mats. Just let them know you'll make them more if they wear them out!

ReplyDeleteLove the mug rugs and the little wall hangings. I love making things for family but I've found the kids are best at using them...vroom, there goes my granddaughter in a supergirl cape..oh wait, its her baby quilt!
