Apple Cake

I think half the reason why I like baking this apple cake is that it's just fun to say 'apple cake'. No, I was not dropped on my head as a child. At least I don't think so.

We picked up some apples from the farm down the street (one of the good things about living in a small town) and apple cake came to mind. I love this recipe and if you've never tried it, you need to. Immediately.

I can't tell you how good the house smells right now :)
