During the winter months, it's bleak and gloomy most of the day. Then for a few minutes each evening, the sky lights up in beautiful oranges and pinks... kind of like a little reward for enduring the cold, brutal winters.

ReplyDeleteI feel very much the same way about sunrise - up here in the Yukon, I'm amazed when it starts getting brighter a little earlier every morning, and how many shades of blue one sky can hold.
