Hushabye Quilt

This quilt makes me so very happy. It's made with fabrics from the Hushabye collection, designed by the talented Tula Pink. I love her fabrics because I feel she blends pretty and playful so beautifully.

I used a layer cake for this quilt. A layer cake that's been in my stash for the longest time because I couldn't bear to cut into it. Glad I finally did though.

Everytime I think I've chosen a favourite print, I change my mind!

Since the quilt top's pretty busy, I kept it very simple on the back... pink, green and white solids. I think I kind of like it.

I'd found this light brown fabric with pink dots that matched perfectly for the binding. I looooove dotty bindings.

The quilt measures 48" by 55" after washing and would make a large baby quilt or a small-sized throw. It's currently listed in the shop SOLD! :)
