Scrappy Log Cabin Quilt

The scrappy log cabin quilt's done!

Like the hubs says, "it's so crazy it works". Thanks... I think?

I can't tell you how fun this quilt was to make! I was inspired by Rebekah's block for Bee Beautiful. I made two blocks for her, and realised two wasn't enough, so I started this. I went to my stash, cut one or two strips from a bunch of them, and hoped like hell it all made sense.

I used a Kona cotton for the binding in blue... then added a scrap of black and white dot fabric. Just because.

And since the front's so busy, I thought that two shades of grey on the back would be best. I used Kona Ash and Coal.

It ended up measuring approx 40" by 51" and is now available in the shop SOLD! :)

  9. You did this in just the last couple of weeks?! Awesome. I think crazy blocks are harder and take longer - I think about them too much.
