Everyday I go out to my backyard to water my tomato plants and pick the few that've ripened. Normally I get about five. Six, if I've been an especially good girl.
Today, I went outside with my little bowl and I was gobsmacked.
How in the world?
I'm going to have to make a salad tomorrow!
Unless I decide to keep popping them in my mouth tonight...I'm going to miss my tomato plants sorely when the cold weather arrives. But it makes me feel a bit better knowing I'll have them again next spring, along with many other veggies (hopefully).
they looks so juicy and sweet! i would make a cubed caprese salad from those. yummmm...
