Oops

Have you ever finished your quilt top, looked at it and it goes "Hey, you think you're done, don't you? Well... yeah... no."? Mine did.

I spotted a placement I really didn't like after I'd finished the entire quilt top and I'm the sort that can't let it go. If I don't like something on the top, I can't move on to the backing, basting, quilting...

So out came the seam ripper. Ripped out the stupid piece smack in the middle of nowhere. Good job, me.

It all ended up fine... quilt's quilted and I've stopped hyperventilating. But seriously, I need to pay attention in the future!

  2. That's happened to me before, but I've never ripped it out all the way. Good for you! It's much easier to rip it out now than to live with your mistakes forever :)

  3. It's too bad you can't hire tiny elves to do your work for you while you sleep. :-)
